Should I Have Glam Or Natural Makeup For My Wedding?

When you’re dreaming of your wedding day, it’s likely you have an image in your head of how it’s all going to look. The venue, the dress, the guests…and how you will look on the day.

If you’re someone who doesn’t wear makeup very often, you may find the idea of ‘going glam’ for your wedding to be a bit intimidating. You may wonder why you can’t just wear the bare minimum, or just the amount of makeup you’d usually wear for a simple night out.

Of course, no one NEEDS to wear makeup at all – if you’d rather not, that’s fine. But it’s a decision for you and you only, to decide on whether you want to go all out, or keep it au natural.

A glam bridal look can see you wearing pops of colour, some expert contour and perhap some fake eyelashes to ensure your eyes are magical. If you’re having a party afterwards, this loo can carry through until the evening and to the end of the night while you’re shaking it on the dancefloor.

A natural bridal look doesn’t necessarily mean no, or less makeup! To us, natural means clear, beautiful glowing skin, with pops of blush and highlight to give you a blushing bridal glow. Even if you’re not used to wearing makeup, it’s possible to simply enhance your natural features slightly with cleverly placed products.

It’s your big day! We want to make you look your best. As experts, we know which brands will last and are better quality with ingredients to ensure your wedding makeup lasts from morning until night. Some of our makeup artists have worked for luxury makeup brands, and bring you a wealth of product and skincare knowledge – we truly believe on such an important day you deserve the best of the best – natural, glam or whichever look you choose!
